Ally Program Committee Meeting

The Long Beach Homeless Coalitions' Homeless Ally Program is officially in a re-launch phase after kicking off officially in 2019 and being on hold indefinitely as a result of the the COVID-19 pandemic. 

This first meeting will focus on providing the context and history of the program, sharing the initial purpose it sought to serve, and then discussing as a newly formed group the path forward for this program. We will meet twice each month between general meetings of the Coalition in order to get the program off the ground in the coming months. 

This program is designed to increase awareness of and empathy for our neighbors living without housing in Long Beach AND to create designated safe spaces for these neighbors beyond the spaces designated for accessing housing-specific services. We hope to see you a this and future meetings to build this program with us!
