Advocacy Comittee Meeting

The Long Beach Homeless Coalition Advocacy Committee is a newly launched effort designed to create space designated for the sharing and discussing of key issues, needs, and events occurring in the Long Beach community pertaining to housing and homelessness. 

At this first meeting, the agenda is simply to discuss and identify the top priority items and areas of focus for the Coalition for the next year. We ask that you bring your top areas of concern and your top priority issue items to the table to share with the group as our next steps in this process of identifying where our advocacy efforts will focus this year. We will also discuss our advocacy activities and determine as a group the nature, style, and approach with which the Coalition will pursue advocacy over the next year.
