The Long Beach Homeless Coalition's Homeless Ally Program is officially in a re-launch phase after kicking off officially in 2019 and being on hold indefinitely as a result of the the COVID-19 pandemic.

This next meeting, we will be defining the term "Homeless Ally" specific to each of the following constituents:

Individual community members
Businesses
Non-profits
Neighborhood Associations

We will meet twice each month between general meetings of the Coalition in order to get the program off the ground in the coming months.

This program is designed to increase awareness of and empathy for our neighbors living without housing in Long Beach AND to create designated safe spaces for these neighbors beyond the spaces designated for accessing housing-specific services. We hope to see you at this and future meetings to build this program with us!
